Role Overview
Epic Games is seeking a smart, creative Gameplay Programmer Intern to join a new project within the Fortnite Ecosystem starting in 2025. This internship offers a meaningful experience with high expectations for performance. As a Gameplay Programmer Intern, you will be part of a team that strives to create memorable experiences for players.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with art and design teams to create and iterate on game features.
- Prototype new game features and support the technical excellence of the game across multiple platforms.
- Optimize and fix bugs in existing game systems.
- Contribute ideas to all aspects of the game’s production and development.
- Write robust, maintainable C++ code.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong knowledge of C++ is essential.
- Experience with gameplay coding utilizing C++.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine and understanding of blueprints.
- Passion for game development and Epic Games products.
- Exceptional communication skills and experience working within a team.
- Ability to react and respond effectively to coding feedback.
Internship Details
- Flexible start date in 2025.
