Join Oculus VR as a Tools Programmer
Oculus Studios and Sanzaru Games are seeking a talented Tools Programmer to join our team in crafting immersive virtual reality games. This role is perfect for developers passionate about creating engaging gameplay experiences and pushing the boundaries of interactive entertainment.
Responsibilities
As a Tools Programmer at Sanzaru, you will:
- Build, maintain, and modify continuous integration systems to enhance studio workflows.
- Profile and improve both game runtime and editor performance.
- Debug and optimize gameplay systems.
- Think creatively and critically to expand user experiences into new virtual reality mediums.
- Work closely with engineers and designers to contribute to game architecture and technical design.
- Identify opportunities for workflow improvement and develop tools to achieve them.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in the game industry.
- Experience shipping a Console, PC, or VR game.
- Proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine.
- Experience blending and extending an existing codebase.
- Ability to collaborate with team members across multiple disciplines to bring gameplay to life.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience shipping a VR title.
- Familiarity with TeamCity CI.
- Experience with game engine performance profiling.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $117,000/year to $173,000/year
- Additional compensation includes bonus and equity
