Job Overview
The Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) is seeking two Graduate Research Assistants in Cybersecurity to join their team at the Istituto di Scienze Applicate e Sistemi Intelligenti (ISASI) in Lecce, Apulia, Italy. This is a unique opportunity for recent graduates to engage in cutting-edge research on advanced access control solutions for Blockchain and distributed environments, leveraging the Self-Sovereign Identity paradigm.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on advanced access control solutions for Blockchain and distributed environments.
- Design and experiment with solutions for trust management of resources, entities, and services in distributed environments.
- Utilize the Self-Sovereign Identity paradigm and Distributed Ledger Technology in research projects.
- Collaborate on the "SEcurity and RIghts in the CyberSpace – SERICS" project, funded by the European Union.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity (LM-18, 23/S, LM-32, 35/S, LM-66).
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology principles.
- Knowledge of Self-Sovereign Identity concepts and applications.
- Proficiency in cryptography and security protocols.
- Experience programming in languages such as Solidity, JavaScript, Python, or Go.
- Familiarity with smart contracts and the development of decentralized applications (dApps).
