Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior System Administrator to join our team within the Digital Technologies division, specifically in the Advanced Enterprise Platform area. This role involves implementing system-related projects both for clients and within our own infrastructure. The primary responsibilities include managing servers, networks, backups, and virtualized environments, as well as providing client support in case of issues or failures. Depending on the needs, tasks may be performed remotely or on-site at client locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage IT infrastructure, operating systems, and corporate networks.
- Install and configure hardware and software.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of IT systems and data networks.
- Perform routine maintenance of systems, including updates and backup installations.
- Troubleshoot technical problems and failures.
- Provide support and assistance to staff for hardware and software issues.
- Manage user support tickets.
Qualifications and Skills
- Technical diploma in IT or completion of an IT training course.
- Knowledge of hardware and software components of an IT system.
- Familiarity with Linux (basic) and Windows operating systems.
- Basic understanding of networking infrastructures (network protocols, WAN, LAN, WI-FI, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of ICT security topics (firewalls, security systems, remote access, IPS, IDS, etc.).
- Technical English proficiency.
- Organizational and management skills.
- Punctuality and precision.
- Communication and relational skills, collaborative spirit.
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Problem-solving orientation.
- Willingness to learn and curiosity about new technologies.
- Availability to travel to client sites in the provinces of Vicenza, Verona, Padova, Brescia, Trento.
Preferred Qualifications
- Own a car.
- Knowledge of virtualization environments (VMWARE, Hyper-V).
