About the Role
We are seeking an Intern IT Analyst Developer to join our dynamic team at BGL BNP Paribas in Luxembourg. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a leading financial institution, working on cutting-edge projects within a collaborative and agile environment.
Responsibilities
As an intern, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary project team that includes project managers, business analysts, technical analysts, and developers. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Conducting technical analysis of applications based on business requirements.
- Designing and implementing solutions to meet these requirements.
- Developing applications in accordance with the project specifications.
- Performing integration tests and participating in user acceptance testing to resolve any issues.
- Engaging in continuous integration and unit testing of developments.
You will be working within the "Save & Invest" tribe, specifically in the "Regulatory" squad, focusing on rewriting a new front-end in Angular for simulating fees during contract signing.

- Back-end: Java, Spring Boot, SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)
- Front-end: Angular 16
- Database: Oracle, SQL Developer, DBeaver
Candidate Profile
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java (Java 8 or higher), Spring Boot, web services (REST, SOAP), and JavaEE. Familiarity with SQL and Oracle databases. Understanding of continuous integration principles and tools such as Maven, Sonar, GIT, and Jenkins.
- Architectural Awareness: Knowledge of SOA/Microservices architecture and security aspects of internet applications.
- Behavioral Skills: Adaptability, teamwork, organizational skills, and effective communication.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English.
Additional Requirements
- A valid internship agreement covering the entire duration of the internship is mandatory.
- A recent criminal record extract (less than 3 months old) will be required for the selected candidate, in compliance with Luxembourg's legal requirements.
