About the Role
NTT DATA is seeking a motivated and talented Cloud-native Software Development Intern to join our dynamic team in Capellen, Luxembourg. As an intern, you will be part of the "Cloud Transformation Practice" global team, working alongside experienced Cloud and Infrastructure engineers. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cloud transformation projects, leveraging modern digital technologies to enhance business processes and customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Cloud Transformation Practice team to deploy technical solutions and services on customer premises or manage client infrastructures hosted on shared platforms.
- Work under the guidance of a senior engineer and team leader to define project approaches and milestones.
- Participate in team meetings and activities to gain exposure to real-world challenges and professional environments.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Strong foundation in Computer Engineering, Data Structures, and Database Management Systems (DBMS).
- Proficiency in Programming and Software Development, with a good understanding of Algorithms and Computer Science principles.
- Excellent Critical Thinking and Problem Solving skills.
- Familiarity with traditional virtualization and networking standards and concepts.
- Strong interest in global technology trends, particularly in cloud computing and automation.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell is a plus.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory; additional languages are an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-moving team.
Academic Qualifications
- Currently in the 5th year of a master’s degree or similar in a relevant field.
Experience
- Previous relevant work experience, such as internships, summer positions, or school jobs, is considered an asset.
