Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team in the Katowice Metropolitan Area. As a Java Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the orchestration layer for our credit risk modeling platform. This platform is utilized by various ING units globally, and you will play a crucial role in its continuous improvement and adaptation to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Collaborate with the team to design and develop backend solutions using Java and the Spring Framework.
- API Management: Develop and maintain REST APIs to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
- Database Management: Work with Oracle databases, utilizing SQL and PL/SQL for data management and manipulation.
- Continuous Delivery: Implement and manage continuous delivery pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with international teams, participating in SCRUM meetings and contributing to agile processes.
Required Skills and Experience
- Java and Spring Framework: Strong knowledge and experience in Java programming and the Spring Framework.
- REST API Design: Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful services.
- CI/CD: Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery concepts.
- Database Skills: Experience with Oracle databases, including SQL and PL/SQL.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an agile environment.
- English Proficiency: B2 level or higher, as you will be working in an international team.

You will be part of an international team responsible for maintaining and developing the orchestration layer for the credit risk modeling platform. The team operates in a SCRUM environment, focusing on delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of various ING units worldwide.
