Internship - Software Developer in DevOps
Introduction to the Job
Join ASML's Silicon Valley Development Operations and HPC Team as an intern and contribute to the continuous improvement of our main processes: Code, Build, Test, Package, Release, Configure, and Monitor. This role is perfect for a rising senior or a Master’s student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement automation scripts or tools on CI/CD infrastructure.
- Analyze and debug issues.
- Document processes to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
- Assist senior engineers on DevOps infrastructure and frameworks.
- Perform any on-demand software tool development tasks.
Education and Experience
- Rising senior of Bachelor student or Master student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Skills
- Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell).
- Experience with Windows, Unix, or Linux is required.
- Experience in Git, Jenkins, Bamboo, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Other Information
This role requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings, and meetings to ensure teamwork, collaboration, and innovation. A flexible workplace arrangement is available for remote work up to two days a week.
Role within Office
- Routinely required to sit, walk, talk, hear, use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.
- Occasionally required to move around the campus and lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- May require travel dependent on business needs.
- Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, and gloves for the entire duration of the shift.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
