IT Internship: Strategic Management

Introduction

The IT Office of the CIO (OCIO) at ASML is a team of around 50 professionals who are not just front runners in IT craftsmanship but also connect and align this with a holistic viewpoint to other business management topics. The IT & Data Strategy & Innovation team supports the IT & Data Management team in defining and industrializing the IT & Data strategy, ensuring strategic alignment between IT and sectors on portfolio delivery and IT innovation management. The IT & Data department of ASML accommodates the growth of ASML by delivering fast, high-quality, and innovative IT & Data solutions.

Your Assignment

Within the IT Strategy & Innovation team, we are seeking a motivated Strategic Management Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic planning, business analysis, and project management. The ideal candidate will support various strategic initiatives and contribute to the development and execution of the IT & Data strategy.

Deliverables could be:

• Assist in the analysis of IT & Data market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments.
• Support the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives within the IT & Data organization.
• Conduct research and data analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and other documentation to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with program managers of strategic initiatives to gather insights and support project execution.

Your Profile

To be the perfect match for this internship, you:

• Are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Strategic Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Have strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Are enthusiastic and proactive in learning and problem-solving.

Other Requirements

• You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship.
• You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. If you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter should include the willingness to relocate.
• If you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
