Java Full Stack Developer

Job Description

Virtusa is seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic engineering team in Irving, Texas. As a Java Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using a variety of technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development processes.

Responsibilities

Develop web applications using Java/J2EE technologies, Hibernate, JPA, and Spring Boot.
Implement microservices architecture and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
Utilize Angular 6+ for front-end development, ensuring responsive and dynamic user interfaces.
Work with Core Java 1.8 and Spring Boot to build robust and scalable applications.
Design and implement REST and SOAP web services.
Engage in end-to-end development from requirement analysis to system design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and implementation.
Map requirements, custom design solutions, and troubleshoot complex software and application problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure CI/CD processes are followed.
Utilize AWS for cloud-based application deployment and management.

Required Skills

Proficient in Java/J2EE, Hibernate, JPA, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
Strong knowledge of Core Java 1.8, Spring Boot, and web services (REST and SOAP).
Experience with Angular 6+ for front-end development.
Familiarity with CI/CD processes and AWS.

Nice to Have Skills

Experience with Agile methodologies, JIRA, Bitbucket, and GIT.
