Job Description
Virtusa is seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic engineering team in Irving, Texas. As a Java Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using a variety of technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop web applications using Java/J2EE technologies, Hibernate, JPA, and Spring Boot.
- Implement microservices architecture and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
- Utilize Angular 6+ for front-end development, ensuring responsive and dynamic user interfaces.
- Work with Core Java 1.8 and Spring Boot to build robust and scalable applications.
- Design and implement REST and SOAP web services.
- Engage in end-to-end development from requirement analysis to system design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and implementation.
- Map requirements, custom design solutions, and troubleshoot complex software and application problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure CI/CD processes are followed.
- Utilize AWS for cloud-based application deployment and management.
Required Skills
- Proficient in Java/J2EE, Hibernate, JPA, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java 1.8, Spring Boot, and web services (REST and SOAP).
- Experience with Angular 6+ for front-end development.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and AWS.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies, JIRA, Bitbucket, and GIT.
