Job Description
Overview
Virtusa is seeking a highly skilled Tech Lead to join our dynamic team in Tampa, Florida. As a Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading hybrid teams, managing technical compliance, and delivering innovative solutions to complex business problems. This position requires a deep understanding of microservices architecture, Restful APIs, and distributed systems, along with hands-on experience in Java and JavaScript frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Change Management: Lead and implement change management practices to ensure technical compliance and performance.
- Solution Delivery: Deliver technical solutions and architectures for complex business problems, identifying benefits and risks, and providing customer-centric design recommendations.
- Team Leadership: Manage multi-location teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication across diverse stakeholders.
- Agile Methodologies: Apply Agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum and SAFe to drive project success.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrate expert-level skills in Java, JavaScript toolkits/frameworks, SQL development, and object-oriented design.
- Continuous Integration: Lead test-driven development, code reviews, and continuous integration processes.
- Application Security: Ensure application security and performance through best practices and innovative solutions.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in change management, technical compliance, and leading hybrid teams.
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in delivering technical solutions and architectures.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, Restful APIs, and distributed systems.
- Expert in Java, JavaScript toolkits/frameworks, SQL development, and object-oriented design.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
- Experience managing multi-location teams and working in a diverse stakeholder environment.
- Proficiency with Atlassian tools (Jira Software, Confluence).
- Experience with data integration practices.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with IBM Case Manager, IBM Business Automation Workflow, IBM FileNet P8 Platform, or any Business Process Management Platform.
- Prior experience with Citi.
Workplace Type
This position is a hybrid role, allowing for a combination of on-site and off-site work.
