Job Description
Virtusa is seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic engineering team in Irving, Texas. As a Java Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using a variety of technologies, including Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, and Angular. You will work on both the front-end and back-end components of our applications, ensuring seamless integration and high performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop web applications using Java/J2EE technologies, Hibernate, JPA, and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement microservices architecture.
- Utilize Angular 6+ for front-end development.
- Implement REST and SOAP web services.
- Engage in end-to-end development from requirement analysis to system design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and implementation.
- Map requirements, custom design solutions, and troubleshoot complex software and application problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Participate in Agile development processes, using tools like JIRA and Bitbucket.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
Required Skills
- Proficient in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java 1.8, Spring Boot, Microservices, and web services (REST and SOAP).
- Experience with Angular 6+ and AWS.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Bitbucket, and GIT.
