Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Java Fullstack AWS Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is based in New York, United States, and requires an on-site presence. As a Fullstack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and deploying applications using a variety of technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Utilize Core Java and J2EE to design and develop robust applications. Implement design patterns and best practices to ensure high-quality code.
- API and Microservices: Create and consume REST APIs and microservices to enhance application functionality and integration.
- Frontend Development: Work with Angular and React to build responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Use Jenkins and other CI/CD tools to automate the deployment process.
- Testing: Implement unit tests using Junit and Mockito to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Database Management: Work with both SQL and No-SQL databases to manage and store data efficiently.
- Agile Methodologies: Participate in Agile development processes using tools like Jira and Git for version control.
- Cloud Technologies: Leverage AWS services such as EKS, Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL, Dynamo DB, S3, IAM, Route 53, ELB, SNS, SQS, and Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK) to build scalable cloud solutions.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Use Kafka and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fullstack development with a focus on Java and AWS.
- Strong understanding of frontend technologies like Angular and React.
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins.
- Proficient in database technologies, both SQL and No-SQL.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Git.
- Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS, is essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
