Job Overview
NTT DATA North America is seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team in Dallas, Texas. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a comprehensive benefits package. Key Responsibilities
- Product Requirements Review: Collaborate with the user community to discuss and understand product requirements.
- Solution Design: Work with business user groups to understand business needs, provide scalable solutions, and collaborate with the business community to develop efficient alternatives.
- Design Documentation: Prepare design solutions for requirements, document with appropriate design artifacts such as high-level and low-level designs, and break the implementation plan into smaller deliverables aligned with project timelines.
- Software Development: Ensure software is built in a scalable manner and utilize JUnit to test the code.
- Product Rollout Coordination: Work with business users to secure necessary sign-offs for deliverables and coordinate product rollout, including working on tools for building and deploying the software.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and solve issues in a timely manner for software in the production environment.
- Project Management: Manage competing projects simultaneously and ensure the quality of all deliverables.
- Global Team Collaboration: Work on a global software development team and communicate status/design effectively across multiple regions.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of three years' experience in Java programming with proficiency in object-oriented design principles.
- Experience with Java frameworks such as DropWizard, Spring, and Hibernate.
- Proficiency in web development frameworks like Angular or React.
- Experience with distributed storage systems like DB2, Oracle, Cassandra, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, especially using Git.
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
