Join the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) team at Games Global, a group of highly skilled professionals dedicated to advancing our cloud computing capabilities. As a Platform Engineer Level 2, you will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for leading and facilitating the adoption of cloud technologies and practices across Games Global.

Responsibilities

  • Design and Implementation: Participate in the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance infrastructure solutions using modern cloud services, containerization, and automation tools.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Utilize infrastructure as code (Terraform) to provision and manage AWS and Azure resources, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.
  • Cloud Applications: Design, develop, and implement cloud-based applications and services leveraging AWS PAAS and SAAS.
  • Security and Compliance: Develop policies, standards, and guidelines for IAC and CI/CD, and assist with the establishment and enforcement of stringent security protocols, access controls, and compliance measures.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including architects, DevOps engineers, and product owners, to understand requirements and translate them into scalable and secure solutions.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve problems across multiple application domains and platforms using system troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
  • Automation: Automate different operational processes by designing, maintaining, and managing tools to increase engineering productivity.
  • Operational Support: Provide operational support and engineering for the cloud platform.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Assist with driving the implementation and improvement of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions.
  • Code Reviews and Mentorship: Conduct code reviews, contribute to team knowledge sharing, and provide guidance to junior engineers.
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential for enhancing the development process.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of professional experience as a DevOps / Platform Engineer, with a strong focus on Docker, AWS, Azure, Terraform, Python, and EKS.
  • Certifications: AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
