About the Role
We’re seeking a junior software engineer for product engineering in the core sales CRM area at Pipedrive. This role involves joining one of our versatile tribes, where you will have the opportunity to take on new roles and interesting challenges as our business continues to grow.
How We Work
Our engineering team is comprised of a number of tribes that operate independently, ensuring benefits from flat hierarchies and scalability. Each tribe is a self-sufficient unit with full ownership of its area. Developers have a lot of freedom: they get to pick missions to work on, and when they’re done with a mission they’re back at the launchpad keeping the show on the road and recovering before the next mission.

- Front End: JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js
- Back End: Node.js, TypeScript, Golang, some PHP
- Databases and Messaging: MySQL, CouchDB, Redis, Apache Kafka

- Work independently in a tribe and deliver high-quality code in a timely manner
- Do code reviews and provide feedback to your peers
- Write automated tests
- Deploy to production and maintain monitoring
- Be on call when it’s your turn, react to alerts and resolve production incidents
- Continuously improve your stack and pay off technical debt
- Think multi-regional, highly available and scalable
Does This Sound Like You?
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Proven software development experience
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React.js
- Experience with some of the following technologies: Golang, PHP (7+), MySQL, CouchDB, Redis, Apache Kafka
- Ability to work in areas outside of your comfort zone and to get things done quickly
- Good understanding of security threats
- Interest in and past contributions to the open-source community is a huge plus
- Experience with multi-regional cloud-based services is a huge plus
