Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the core team to develop and maintain scalable features.
- Contribute to defining business and technical needs for future features.
- Uphold code quality standards, including naming, unit tests, and abstractions.
- Assist in designing the platform for future features.
- Provide input on code design and architecture of services.
- Act as a cornerstone of the tech team.
- Define and promote best coding practices.
- Track new version releases in production.
- Work with professionals who have created some of the most revolutionary solutions in their fields.
- Make an impact by working on large-scale projects globally.

- Fluency in English (French is a plus).
- Strong foundation in Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
- Extensive experience as a Backend Developer (6+ years).
- Prior leadership experience is a big plus.
- Experience in complex project architecture.
- User experience-oriented beyond technical specifications.
- Familiarity with MongoDB, DynamoDB, and/or ElasticSearch databases is nice to have.
- Ability to write effective unit tests and integration tests.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Rigorous and autonomous work ethic.
- Passionate about writing sustainable and resilient code.
- Critical mindset and ability to provide suggestions.
- Curiosity and up-to-date knowledge of developments and best practices.
Location
This position is remote and can be filled from anywhere in Romania.
