Join Our Team as a Senior Node.js & TypeScript Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Node.js & TypeScript Developer to join our dynamic team. As a part of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining scalable features for our cutting-edge solutions. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in Romania.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Core Team: Work closely with the core team to develop and maintain scalable features that meet both business and technical needs.
- Code Quality and Standards: Uphold high standards of code quality, including naming conventions, unit tests, and abstractions.
- Platform Design: Assist in designing the platform for future features and provide input on code design and architecture of services.
- Technical Leadership: Act as a cornerstone of the tech team, defining and promoting best coding practices.
- Version Tracking: Track new version releases in production and ensure smooth integration.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: A strong background in Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS is essential. You should have at least 6 years of experience as a Backend Developer.
- Leadership Skills: Prior experience in a leading role is a significant advantage.
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with MongoDB, DynamoDB, and/or ElasticSearch databases is a plus.
- Testing and Methodologies: Proficiency in writing effective unit tests and integration tests, along with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Soft Skills: You should be a strategic thinker, able to express ideas simply, and have a passion for writing sustainable and resilient code.
