Role Overview
You will join our 10-person engineering and product team as the first dedicated machine learning engineer. Your role will be entirely focused on our internal LLM implementations, including working on evaluation pipelines, fine-tuning, optimization, and performance. You will have real product ownership, and your work will directly shape the company. As a remote engineer, you will have wide autonomy and independence. This is a role with deep responsibility and impact.
Our Stack
- Python 3.8 + Django Backend
- Ubuntu on AWS
- PostgreSQL databases (pgvector extension)
- OpenAI APIs
- Frontend React/NextJs on Vercel
Requirements
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least one year of back-end programming experience in Python
- Familiarity with machine learning topics and techniques
- Desire to work in a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment
