Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, enjoys working with large datasets, and has a talent for transforming theoretical concepts into practical, scalable solutions. You will be part of a mission-driven startup environment, contributing to the development of cutting-edge AI technologies.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, develop, and deploy machine learning models for NLP, retrieval, ranking, reasoning, dialog, and code-generation systems.
- Implement advanced machine learning algorithms, including Transformer-based models, reinforcement learning, and ensemble learning.
- Lead the processing and analysis of large, complex datasets to inform model development.
- Manage the complete lifecycle of ML model development, from problem definition to deployment.
- Implement A/B testing and statistical methods to validate model effectiveness.
- Develop automated testing and validation processes to ensure the robustness of ML solutions.
- Communicate technical details and benefits of ML models to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Proven experience in building and deploying production-level machine learning models.
- Deep understanding of NLP techniques and frameworks, including large language models.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with ML libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Excellent data processing skills and experience with large-scale data systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP or Azure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
