About The Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer to join our Data team. This role involves working on the full life cycle of machine learning models, from training to production. You will collaborate with data scientists and work cross-functionally with various teams such as Engineering, Ops, Product, and Fraud Prevention.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with data scientists on training machine learning models.
- Provide strategic vision for integrating machine learning into MoonPay’s business.
- Support and improve ML infrastructure, including data engineering and DevOps.
- Design systems to meet throughput and latency requirements.
- Implement Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) for system reliability.
- Participate in practices to ensure continuous delivery of ML services.
About You
- Experience in productionising ML systems and training machine learning models.
- Advanced knowledge of Python and familiarity with SQL.
- Proficient in Terraform and Terragrunt for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience with real-time and event-driven systems like Kafka and Pub/Sub.
- Solid experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD systems.
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Dataflow, and Flink.
- Experience with MLOps tools like KubeFlow, DVC, and MLFlow.
- Experience with cloud providers, particularly GCP.
- Interest in FinTech, crypto, or Web3 is preferred.
