About the Opportunity
MoonPay is seeking a skilled Senior Growth Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving business growth and maximizing ROI through data-driven strategies. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our market-leading products by optimizing growth initiatives and delivering actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Analytical Support: Provide analytical support to the growth marketing team, including evaluation of customer acquisition cost, customer spending forecast, and finding an optimal mix of marketing channels.
- Marketing Systems: Maintain and improve our marketing tracking and attribution systems.
- Testing and Optimization: Oversee and implement A/B tests and other experiments to drive optimization efforts.
- Reporting Automation: Automate attribution and CRM campaign reporting.
- Campaign ROI: Measure and optimize ROI of campaigns.
- Predictive Modeling: Leverage forecasting or predictive modeling techniques to drive recommendations and actionable insights.
- Data Strategies: Develop data-driven strategies for acquisition, retention, and expansion.
- Data Products: Design, build, and scale both internal and external data products, such as dashboards, reports, models, and algorithms.
- Communication: Communicate complex concepts and findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences across different teams, including VPs.

- Leadership: As a Senior Data Scientist, you will lead projects from end-to-end and mentor other data analysts.
- Proactive: Spearhead initiatives to support stakeholders and business partners.

Required Skills
- Experience with mobile measurement platforms and web tracking tools (e.g., Braze, Appsflyer, Adjust, GA360/GA4, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment).
- Familiarity with ROAS performance marketing framework and AdTech.
- Advanced skills in SQL, data modeling, and data visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of statistics and probability, including experience in conducting large-scale A/B tests.
- Experience working with growth or product teams on acquisition, retention, and campaign optimizations.
- Excellent communication skills with cross-functional stakeholders.
- 3-5+ years of experience as a growth analyst.
Bonus Points
- Experience in fintech or start-ups.
- Knowledge of cryptocurrency.
- Experience with DBT, Google BigQuery, Looker, and Python.
