About the Role
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at MoonPay, you will be integral to our mission of onboarding the world to Web3. You will work within the Data team to build, expand, and maintain our machine learning infrastructure and ecosystem. This role involves significant impact on critical functions of the business, collaborating closely with data scientists and cross-functionally with Engineering, Ops, Product, Fraud Prevention, and more.
Responsibilities
- Consult with data scientists on training machine learning models, considering production environment implications.
- Provide a strategic vision on how to integrate machine machine learning as a cornerstone to MoonPay’s business.
- Support additions and improvements to the ML infrastructure, including data engineering and DevOps engineering tasks.
- Design systems to meet throughput and latency requirements.
- Implement Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) to ensure system reliability.
- Participate in practices such as on-call rotation to ensure continuous delivery of machine learning services.
About You
- Experience in productionizing ML systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Python and familiarity with SQL.
- Experience with Terraform and real-time event-driven systems like Kafka.
- Solid experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD systems.
- Working experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark.
- Hands-on experience with MLOps tools like KubeFlow, DVC, MLFlow.
- Experience with cloud providers, preferably GCP.
- Interest in FinTech, crypto, or web3 is preferred.
