Your Role as a Software Developer

As a Software Developer at ChipSoft, you will be responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and maintaining your own module. This involves working on complex ICT products that must function flawlessly within the intricate environment of a healthcare organization. You will work independently or as part of a team, utilizing our self-developed multi-tier framework. We provide internal training to quickly get you up to speed on how to showcase your development skills within this architecture.

Your Work Environment

You will be based at our headquarters in Amsterdam, working within one of the teams in our Research & Development department. Each team focuses on different areas, and we will match you with the team that best suits your personality, skills, and ambitions. Regardless of your team, you will find yourself in a warm and welcoming environment where informal atmosphere and good collaboration are key. You will be surrounded by experts to brainstorm with and keep you sharp.

A Day in the Life

During the scrum, you and your teammates will discuss what everyone is working on and any challenges they face. Afterward, you will focus on your main task for the upcoming period: developing a new module within HiX. At lunchtime, you can grab a quick sandwich and discuss with a fellow developer how they fine-tuned the framework for their solution. This is going to be something amazing!
