About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior .NET Software Developer to join our dynamic team within the IV Uitkeren department at UWV. In this role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary Agile team responsible for building and maintaining software systems that support our mission of providing efficient and effective services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, testers, analysts, and administrators in a Scrum team to develop a new system for disability benefits.
• Formulate information needs and system requirements as a basis for functional designs.
• Translate functional designs into technical designs, including system programming and integration.
• Develop, maintain, and configure applications using specialized programming languages and standard packages.

About IV Uitkeren

IV Uitkeren is a department with approximately 450 colleagues, organized around legal domains. Our focus is on ensuring the affordability of established benefits and the collection process. We work closely with other divisions and departments within UWV to deliver client-focused services.

Required Qualifications

• A completed, relevant HBO-level education.
• Proven experience as a software developer.
• Demonstrable recent experience in C# and the .NET framework (ASP.Net Core/.Net 7 or 8 version).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure (Public Cloud and DevOps).
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.

Additional Skills

• Experience working in an Agile team.
• Affinity with test automation.
• Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of the Disability Insurance Act (AW) or willingness to learn its content and processes.

Note

This position is for a minimum of 28 hours and a maximum of 38 hours per week, with a one-year contract and the possibility of a permanent contract upon good performance.
