Are you an experienced back-end developer with a passion for creating high-quality software solutions? Mapiq is looking for a Senior Back End Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. We are a leading workplace experience platform, helping organizations manage office spaces and enhance employee experiences through innovative technology.
About the Role
As a Senior Back End Developer at Mapiq, you will play a crucial role in developing and improving our workplace experience platform. You will work closely with UX designers and front-end developers to deliver robust back-end functionality. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing New Features: Collaborate with UX designers and front-end developers to create new API endpoints and ensure seamless integration with our platform. You will also be responsible for testing your implementations using unit and integration tests.

Improving Existing Features: Enhance the performance and maintainability of our existing codebase. You will work on bug fixes and performance improvements, either independently or in collaboration with our testing team.

Architectural Brainstorming: Participate in discussions about client-server architecture, ensuring that new API endpoints meet both functional and non-functional requirements, such as scalability and security.

Embracing Microsoft Tech Stack: Utilize technologies such as dotnet6, asp.net core, C#, and Microsoft Azure to develop and deploy our applications. You will also work with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
Who We Are Looking For
Our ideal candidate is someone with over 5 years of experience in software engineering, particularly with C#, .NET, and Azure. You should have experience working in a scale-up company with a SaaS product and possess:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in building enterprise software and architectures.
- A passion for creating high-quality software.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Residency and work authorization in the Netherlands.
