Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled React Frontend Developer with experience in Guidewire and Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance to join our team. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to exciting projects in the insurance technology space.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain frontend applications using React.js and TypeScript, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Integrate with backend services using REST APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and user experience.
- Debug and resolve issues that surface in the digital development lifecycle, particularly those related to Guidewire and P&C insurance systems.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals and timelines.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in React.js and TypeScript: You should have a strong command of these technologies to build and maintain complex frontend applications.
- Experience with Guidewire: Previous experience working with Guidewire software is essential.
- Knowledge of Property and Casualty Insurance: Understanding the nuances of P&C insurance will be crucial in this role.
- Familiarity with REST APIs: You should be comfortable working with RESTful services and integrating them into frontend applications.
- Strong communication skills: Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with responsive web design and ensuring applications work across various devices and screen sizes.
- Familiarity with xEngage and xCenters is a plus.
