Role Overview
As a Software Engineer at Fieldguide, you will be a pivotal early team member, directly influencing the development of our engineering organization and tackling the vast, traditional audit and advisory industry. You will contribute to the entire development lifecycle of features and bring a mindset of continuous improvement to your work.
Responsibilities
- Contribute as a core technical member at a Series A-stage startup during scaling.
- Develop end-to-end features and improvements.
- Utilize modern web tech stacks including TypeScript, React, GraphQL, NodeJS, Hasura, Postgres, and AWS.
- Apply test and automation tools like Jest and Cypress.
- Implement DevOps and continuous integration/delivery best practices.
- Ensure adherence to information security best practices.
- Collaborate on all aspects of product strategy and UX.
- Shape a young tech stack, product, and engineering organization.
What You'll Need
- Experience with modern web tech stacks (TypeScript, React, GraphQL, NodeJS, Hasura, Postgres, AWS).
- Proficiency in test and automation tools (Jest, Cypress).
- Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration/delivery best practices.
- Understanding of information security best practices.
- Ability to collaborate on product strategy and UX.

Compensation
The compensation range for this position is $125,000 - $167,000 per year.
