Job Overview

Docusign is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior AI SaaS Engineer to join our dynamic Cloud Applications team. This role is pivotal in leading the development, optimization, and governance of AI solutions within our SaaS ecosystem. You will be responsible for managing the GenAI features of essential SaaS applications, ensuring compliance with vendor management and SaaS policies, and collaborating with business stakeholders to enhance the value of AI capabilities in their SaaS portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI features within our SaaS applications using the latest GenAI technologies.
• Optimization: Manage and optimize the GenAI capabilities of critical SaaS applications, ensuring compliance with vendor management and SaaS policies.
• Vendor Management: Implement vendor management policies and maintain strong relationships with external AI and SaaS vendors.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business partners to find opportunities and maximize the value delivery of AI capabilities within their SaaS portfolios.
• Strategy Contribution: Contribute to the overall AI strategy and direction of SaaS service ownership within the Cloud Applications team.
• Monitoring and Performance: Implement monitoring tools and practices to track the performance and impact of AI features, ensuring seamless operation.
• Issue Resolution: Address and resolve issues related to AI functionalities in a timely manner.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of AI processes, configurations, and updates.
• Innovation and Security: Stay updated with the latest AI and SaaS trends and technologies, recommending and integrating new solutions while championing a security-first approach to AI development, configuration, and rollout.

Qualifications

Basic

• 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; or 3+ years with a Master’s degree.
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering or development with a strong focus on AI/ML applications.
• Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing AI/ML solutions in a SaaS environment.
• Proficiency with GenAI technologies and their applications in SaaS products.
• Experience with SaaS architectures and platforms.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, etc.
• Experience using REST APIs to integrate standalone SaaS applications into a broad architecture landscape.
• Familiarity with Scrum, Agile, and continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.

Preferred

• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries.
• Knowledge of compliance and security standards related to AI and SaaS applications.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools for AI/ML models.
• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and integrate cutting-edge AI technologies into existing SaaS solutions.
• Certification in AI, cloud computing, or related fields.
• Experience building custom APIs and RESTful services.
• Proven experience with common cloud infrastructure platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Project management experience handling projects and organization-wide application updates.

Workplace Type

This position is designated as Hybrid, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

Salary

• Range: €114,200 - €177,100 annually
