Join DigitalOcean as a Senior Software Engineer (AI/ML)
DigitalOcean is seeking experienced Software Engineers to join our team focused on AI/ML. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building features and improvements end-to-end to make accelerated compute simple and accessible for everyone. You will work primarily with TypeScript, React, GraphQL, TRPC, and Go to build UI components, libraries, tools, and services that power the Paperspace platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the GraphQL/TRPC API.
- Collaborate on design and UX to ship product features from planning to launch to maintenance with high autonomy.
- Work with other engineers to find elegant architectures and solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and own a technical area within the team.
Requirements
- Strong interest in development platforms, MLOps, AI, CI/CD, infrastructure, or making products for technical teams.
- Ability to make effective trade-offs in engineering and product requirements, balancing short-term and long-term needs.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.
- Experience building UI component libraries, design systems, and tools using TypeScript.
- Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities.
- Knowledge of API standards including REST, GraphQL, or RPC.
