Overview
Uniswap Labs is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our innovative team in New York City. This role offers the flexibility to work partially or fully remote, catering to your lifestyle needs. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing financial products that are reshaping the way value flows on the internet.
Responsibilities
- Write high-quality and well-tested code.
- Review code from other team members.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to turn requirements into products.
- Lead the execution end-to-end.
- Provide guidance and technical leadership to peers.
- Drive strategic technical initiatives across engineering pods that impact the entire engineering organization.
- Design, build, and maintain large-scale production systems on the cloud, ensuring smooth operation and high availability.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience.
- Excellent coding skills and a deep understanding of cloud architectures and algorithms.
- Strong debugging capabilities.
- Experience in managing projects comprehensively from gathering requirements to release management and operational monitoring.
- Ability to build systems from the ground up in a 0→1 fashion.
- Desire to keep up with modern best practices in software development/Web3.
- Mentored junior engineers.
Nice to Have
- Experience as a Technical Lead.
- Experience with time-series based monitoring/observability systems.
- Degree in computer science.
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Experience with AWS.
- Love for unicorns.
