Staff React Native Engineer (Wallet)

Job Description

Uniswap Labs is seeking a Staff React Native Engineer to join our team and help build the next generation of financial products. This role will primarily focus on the Uniswap Wallet suite of products, which includes mobile apps on iOS and Android, as well as our new browser extension. Our products are built using React Native for Web to enable maximal code sharing between them.

Responsibilities

Work across client, server, architecture, and infrastructure that powers our wallet products.
Drive strategic technical initiatives across engineering pods that impact the entire engineering organization.
Play a leading technical role in multiple large, impactful projects.
Rapidly implement functional UI elements from design mocks, with an eye toward performance and accessibility.
Ensure that components are functional, elegant, and performant.
Provide mentorship and feedback to other engineers on the team through both code and design doc reviews.

Requirements

8+ years of software engineering experience.
A deep understanding of the architecture of modern client-side React Native applications.
Proven individual contributor or previously a Tech Lead with experience planning and leading end-to-end large projects.
Familiarity with the web3 frontend stack (e.g., ethers.js, web3.js, viem).
Experience with TypeScript.
Experience working fullstack.
A desire to keep up with modern best practices in web/mobile development.

Nice to Have

Experience in native mobile (e.g., Swift, Kotlin).
Experience with React Native for Web.
Degree in computer science.
Prior experience creating a design system or component library.
Love for unicorns :)

Minimum full-time salary of $240,000-$267,000.
