Overview
Uniswap Labs, a pioneering force in the decentralized trading and automated market making on Ethereum, is seeking a Tech Lead for our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. This role is crucial for maintaining the reliability, performance, and efficiency of our systems and will be instrumental in shaping the SRE team's future.
Responsibilities
Reliability and Performance
- Design and implement systems that enhance service reliability and performance.
- Develop CI/CD tools and cloud constructs to boost reliability.
- Manage monitoring, alerting, and incident response strategies.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative measures.
- Optimize system performance and automate tasks to improve efficiency.
Team Leadership
- Foster a collaborative team culture.
- Set technical direction and priorities.
- Conduct code and design reviews.
- Mentor and grow the SRE team.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with software engineering, infrastructure, and product teams.
- Advocate for SRE best practices across the organization.
- Provide updates on reliability metrics and initiatives.
Innovation and Improvement
- Stay updated with industry trends in SRE and performance.
- Evaluate and improve systems and processes.
- Drive adoption of new technologies for operational improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years in SRE/DevOps, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in reliability engineering, monitoring tools, and cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with CI/CD practices.
- Knowledge of configuration management tools.
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $243,000-$269,000 per year.
