Job Description
Adobe is seeking a Senior Backend Software Development Engineer to join our GenStudio team in Bucharest, Romania. GenStudio is a generative AI-first product designed to help marketing teams quickly plan, build, handle, activate, and measure on-brand content. This role involves working closely with cross-geos distributed teams and product managers to transform new product ideas into valuable features for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and deliver new features using development technologies that will delight and inspire marketers.
- Build and contribute to engineering designs and architectures that address real software problems or limitations.
- Sustain and evolve our current business through powerful monitoring and share insights with our business team.
- Recommend new technologies to enhance product stability and scalability.
- Participate in on-call activities on rotation with the rest of the team.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one of the following technologies: Java, Node.js, Python.
- Experience with databases: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Familiarity with version control systems: Git, GitHub, GitLab.
- Experience with DevOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Travis CI.
- Strong algorithmic and logical skills.
- Knowledge of GraphQL and ETL is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
