Adobe is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Acrobat Growth Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on Adobe Acrobat and Document Cloud, products used by over 1 billion people worldwide. What You'll Do

• Build and Test: Develop new layouts, components, and features in our React-based web applications.
• Collaborate: Work with Product Engineering teams to contribute code during their sprints.
• Innovate: Design new programmable surfaces in our products for Growth teams to test variations without coding.
• Integrate: Connect new programmable surfaces with our headless content management system.
• Develop Tools: Build internal applications, dashboards, and utilities to support Growth engineers and the larger team.
• Administer Systems: Configure and manage Kubernetes/Docker-based web servers for production SPAs and internal tools.
• Conduct A/B Testing: Set up and manage A/B tests across Desktop and Web applications using Adobe Target.
• Review and Feedback: Provide feedback on features, technology, designs, and test strategies.
• Experiment: Stay open to learning and experimenting with new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
• Best Practices: Advocate for development and operation best practices within the team.
• Agile Environment: Participate in all stages of product development and delivery as part of an agile engineering team.

What You Need to Succeed

• Experience: 5+ years in building and deploying web applications or interactive websites.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and experience with ES6, React, Vue, or equivalent UI frameworks.
• Tools and Patterns: Familiarity with modern web development tools and patterns, such as NPM, Webpack, and cloud deployment strategies.
• Design Skills: Keen eye for visual and web design, with a passion for creating visually rich, responsive, and interactive experiences.
• Cross-Browser Compatibility: Experience ensuring compatibility across different browsers.
• RESTful Services: Comfortable working with RESTful Web Services.
• Prototyping and Maintenance: Ability to build prototypes from scratch and write maintainable code within large codebases.
• Commercial Experience: Experience with shipped software in a commercial environment, with the ability to handle last-minute bug fixes and schedule changes.
• Passion for Technology: Enthusiasm for computer science, software development, and internet applications.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and become proficient in new technologies.

Bonus Skills

• DevOps: Experience with CI/CD deployments, monitoring, and alerting.
• Cloud Services: Experience with platforms like AWS.
• Data-Driven Insights: Experience using data-driven approaches to analyze user interactions.
• Database Knowledge: Understanding of SQL, NoSQL, and graph databases.
• Full-Stack Development: Experience with full-stack web development technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Range: $124,000 - $234,200 annually, depending on location and experience.
