Role Description
As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining new and existing applications. You will work closely with a team of 120 highly skilled back-end engineers from around the world in cross-functional teams to shape our finance solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the direction of our banking product and how we manage our ever-growing user base needs.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and robust banking services.
- Produce and ship well-documented code.
- Co-own our services architecture, focusing on resilience, scalability, and robustness.
- Engage in technical leadership and mentorship of other engineers.
Skills and Experience
- Strong experience in software engineering with exposure to large, high-scale web applications.
- Proficient in Java, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a product-driven mindset.
- Fluent in English with good communication skills, comfortable working in a team, and able to collaborate with non-technical colleagues.
