About The Role

As a Senior Platform Engineer at SeQura, you will be instrumental in evolving our existing infrastructure into a scalable platform product. You will join a team dedicated to transforming our current systems, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), observability, CI/CD, and security, into a unified platform that enhances the autonomy of our tech teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Tech Teams: Work closely with development teams to understand their needs and design infrastructure solutions that enable them to work more efficiently.
• Drive Infrastructure Evolution: Lead the continuous improvement of our infrastructure to meet growing demands while maintaining high standards of reliability and performance.
• Platform Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert on platform-related matters, providing guidance and support across the organization.
• Identify Inefficiencies: Proactively identify repetitive tasks and inefficiencies, and implement solutions to optimize team efficiency.
• Security Focus: Detect potential security vulnerabilities and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure Application Availability: Participate in our on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 application uptime and swiftly resolve issues.
• PCI Compliance: Take ownership of PCI compliance, ensuring our platform adheres to industry security standards.

Our Tech Stack

• Cloud Management: AWS managed with Terraform and Atlantis.
• Container Orchestration: Kubernetes managed with Helm.
• CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.
• Observability: Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic, Jaeger/Tempo, and Sentry.
• Languages: Ruby on Rails, Groovy, and Python.
