About the Role
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable solutions for big data applications in an agile environment. You will maintain and develop TV data aggregation pipelines, which include TV usage, program, and ad delivery data. These pipelines are primarily based on Spark/Scala and Python, and are hosted in the AWS cloud using Docker and Kubernetes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable solutions for big data applications.
- Maintain and develop TV data aggregation pipelines using Spark/Scala and Python.
- Automate testing for existing and new functionalities.
- Collaborate with team members to solve complex technical problems.
- Evaluate new technologies and share knowledge with colleagues.
Your Profile
- At least 3 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of software testing, CI/CD, and Test Driven Development.
- Practical experience with SQL, Scala/Java, ETL, and Big Data technologies (Spark/Hadoop).
- Additional experience with Python is a plus.
- Focus on efficiency and quality with a hands-on mentality.
- Good German and English language skills.
