Job Description
As a Senior Data Scientist in the ADSP Product Operations & Analytics team at Amazon, you will leverage your expertise to build scalable solutions and models that drive growth for Amazon Ads teams, particularly within Amazon's Demand Side Platform (ADSP). Your role will involve using machine learning and simulation techniques to explain, quantify, predict, and prescribe solutions that inform critical business decisions. You will translate business goals into agile, insightful analytics, creating value for stakeholders and customers alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement scalable data science solutions to support Amazon Ads teams.
- Utilize machine learning and simulation methods to inform business decisions.
- Translate business goals into actionable analytics.
- Communicate findings clearly to managers and senior leaders.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab).
- 4+ years of experience as a data scientist.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with statistical models, such as multinomial logistic regression.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools like AWS QuickSight, Tableau, or R Shiny.
- Experience managing data pipelines.
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience within a data science team.

Compensation
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $143,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $247,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
