KAYAK, the world’s leading travel search engine, is seeking a talented Senior Front-End Engineer to join our Foundation Team. This role is pivotal in developing and enhancing the core components that power our travel search engine, impacting millions of travelers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain Core UI Components: Utilize React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML to build and maintain essential user interface components.
- Collaborate with Design and Product Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Optimize Front-End Performance: Ensure high performance and consistency across various platforms.
- Define UI Development Standards: Contribute to setting and maintaining standards for UI development.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ Years in Visual Web Application Development: Extensive experience in developing web applications with a focus on visual elements.
- Proficiency in React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML: Strong technical skills in these core front-end technologies.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to tackle complex front-end development challenges.
- Design Translation: Skilled in translating design concepts into functional UI elements.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Compensation
- Base Salary: Ranges from 3,260 EUR to 5,760 EUR gross per month, depending on experience.
- Yearly Bonuses: Approximately 10% of the annual salary.
