Join Our Cars Team as a Senior Front-End Software Engineer
KAYAK, the world’s leading travel search engine, is seeking a talented Senior Front-End Software Engineer to join our Cars Team. This role is pivotal in developing new features for our main site, focusing on Cars search-related pages, and implementing features across other verticals and cross-site. You will have the opportunity to work on projects that will be used by millions of travelers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain Core UI Components: Utilize React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML to build and maintain user interface components.
- Collaborate with Design and Product Teams: Work closely with design and product teams to implement intuitive user interfaces that enhance user experience.
- Optimize Front-End Performance: Ensure consistency and performance across various platforms.
- Contribute to Best Practices: Help define and uphold best practices and standards for UI development.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in visual web application development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Problem-Solving: Strong skills in front-end development problem-solving.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills in English.
- Design Translation: Ability to translate design concepts into functional UI elements.

Compensation
- Base Salary: Starting from 3260 EUR Gross, with potential up to 5760 EUR Gross based on experience.
- Bonuses: Significant yearly bonuses, approximately 10% of the annual salary.
- Equity: Booking Holdings RSU (Restricted Stock Units) package, worth 20,000 USD (before taxes) with the possibility to receive it annually.
