Job Description
lastminute.com is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong background in React and experience in backend technologies, particularly Java/Kotlin and Spring. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, agile environment and is passionate about leveraging technology to enhance travel experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, design, write, and test new software programs using Agile methodologies.
- Maintain systems by monitoring, identifying, and correcting software defects.
- Investigate new technologies and constantly update technical knowledge and skills.
- Solve problems and apply lateral thinking as part of a team or individually to meet project needs.
Qualifications
Essential
- 4-6+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- Proficiency in React, Styled Components, TypeScript, Jest, HTML, and CSS.
- Solid coding background in Java/Kotlin and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Good knowledge of the Spring environment.
- Familiarity with Git and continuous integration.
- Willingness to work in an Agile environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Very good knowledge of the English language.
Desirable
- Experience in Node.js / Next.js backend development.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, SpringBoot, MySQL, and Maven.
- Competence in testing techniques like TDD and BDD.
- Interest in open-source software and contributions.
- MS Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
