Role Description
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will focus on enhancing the user experience on our web platform, Tiqets.com. You will be responsible for ensuring the website is fast, especially on mobile devices, and maintaining a clean and maintainable codebase. You will collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and backend engineers in an agile environment, adapting to the needs of our customers and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a new checkout flow and payment services to comply with PSD2.
- Build and maintain a library of reusable components across different applications.
- Plan and execute the migration of our codebase to a frontend monorepo using Nx.
- Implement and manage A/B testing to optimize user experience.
- Maintain a technical debt backlog and ensure it is addressed regularly.
- Collaborate with the operations team to create new pipelines in GitLab CI.
- Upgrade our site's accessibility and performance metrics using tools like Lighthouse.
What We Look For
- At least 5 years of professional engineering experience, preferably in e-commerce.
- Proficiency in our front-end stack: React, TypeScript, and Sass.
- Experience with backend technologies like Flask and Django is a plus.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with a preference for candidates living in the Netherlands/EU.
