1Password is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join our Marketplace team. This is a remote opportunity available to candidates in the US and Canada. As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will play a crucial role in building a publicly facing directory of integrations with a robust partner portal. This role is frontend-focused, primarily using Next.js and TypeScript, and you will own the technical direction and implementation of this platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, testing, and debugging of production software systems for new and existing product features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and align technical decisions with project goals.
- Mentor junior team members by providing technical guidance and sharing best practices.
- Drive technical design, specifications, and implementation of improvements to performance, accessibility, reliability, and scalability.
- Develop effective testing strategies and ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
- Stay informed about the latest industry trends and advocate for their integration when relevant.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in web app development using Next.js and TypeScript.
- Strong experience in software development best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
- Proven experience in implementing testing methodologies and debugging techniques.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical cross-functional partners.
- A high degree of ownership over your work and a passion for driving projects towards successful completion.
Bonus Points
- Experience with Kotlin, Swift, Rust, JavaScript, Go, or related languages.
- Experience with infrastructure and backend systems.
- Experience with building integration portals or similar web applications.
Compensation and Benefits
- USA-based roles: Annual base salary between $153,000 USD and $207,000 USD.
- Canada-based roles: Annual base salary between $140,000 CAD and $190,000 CAD.
