As a Senior Backend Developer specializing in Rust, you will join our Item Management team, focusing on enhancing our product's ability to efficiently manage and secure data.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute development plans for specific features or initiatives.
- Write code and implement features and bug fixes with a focus on customer satisfaction and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development cycle to ensure smooth releases.
- Support your peers through pair programming and code reviews.
- Participate in planning sessions to break down tasks, estimate work, and plan development.
- Maintain responsibility for the overall quality of your team’s projects, overseeing testing strategies and technologies.
Qualifications
- 3-4 years of professional experience in software development.
- Proficiency in Rust and experience with Go.
- Experience in product engineering and working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to solve complex problems and propose effective solutions.
- A proactive 'get it done' mentality, prioritizing early shipping and frequent iteration.
