About the Role
Join 1Password as a Senior Full Stack Developer and be a part of our Extended Access Management Identity team. We are focused on building better identity and access management capabilities for our business customers and disrupting the IAM industry. This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, testing, and debugging of production software systems for new and existing product features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and align technical decisions with project goals.
- Mentor junior team members by providing technical guidance and sharing best practices.
- Lead discussions to ensure that technical requirements are clearly communicated and understood.
- Drive technical design, specifications, and implementation of improvements to the performance, accessibility, reliability, and scalability of our technologies.
- Solve complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
- Build new test infrastructures to help other developers build comprehensive tests more effectively and efficiently.
- Be available for on-call rotational work to ensure uninterrupted support and resolve emergencies.
Requirements
- Fullstack experience with backend and frontend languages and frameworks, preference for Golang and TypeScript.
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Strong experience in software development best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
- Proven experience in implementing testing methodologies and debugging techniques.
- Familiarity with Golang, and/or Typescript/React.
- Knowledge of SSH keys and common workflows surrounding them.
Bonus Points
- Experience with Kotlin, Swift, Rust, JavaScript, Go, or related languages.
- Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and/or Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with external developers and open repositories.
