Job Overview
As a Senior Frontend Developer at DigitalRoute, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the frontend development of our cloud service. Your primary focus will be on ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability of our frontend architecture. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including design, product management, and engineering, to translate business requirements into effective frontend solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and Improve Frontend Architecture: Continuously evaluate the state of our SaaS frontend to form well-founded opinions and improvements.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Engage with product managers, engineering teams, UX designers, and the CTO team to gather and understand feedback, needs, and priorities.
- Lead Design and Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of a scalable, high-performing frontend architecture. Collaborate deeply with architects, lead engineers, and QA specialists.
- Establish Best Practices: Develop and enforce best practices and architectural guidelines to ensure consistency and maintainability of the frontend.
- Provide Technical Guidance: Offer guidance to developers to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of emerging frontend technologies, trends, and best practices, advocating for their adoption where applicable.
- Integrate Frontend with Backend: Work closely with all engineering teams to integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven Experience: Extensive experience as a frontend architect or lead frontend developer in a technology-driven environment.
- Frontend Frameworks: In-depth experience with modern frontend frameworks and libraries.
- Responsive Design: Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.
- SaaS and Cloud Experience: Experience in building scalable and high-performance SaaS products.
- State Management: Proficiency in using state management libraries such as Redux or Vuex.
- Build Tools: Experience with frontend build tools and package managers like Webpack, Babel, or npm.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a preference for teamwork.
