Role Overview

As a Lead Frontend Developer, you will be at the forefront of our frontend development efforts, leading the Chapter Frontend team. Your role will involve designing efficient user interfaces, ensuring code quality, and collaborating closely with design and backend teams. You will also stay updated with the latest technologies to drive innovation within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Define Architecture and Technologies: Work with stakeholders to define the architecture and select appropriate technologies, adhering to established guidelines.
• Code Development and Review: Develop and review code, mentor developers, and foster their growth.
• Project Planning and Management: Plan tasks with Product Owners, track project progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Team Leadership: Train, motivate, and support the team, simplifying complex concepts and encouraging continuous learning.
• Testing and Performance: Implement tests, and ensure performance and security standards are met.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with other teams and stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience: At least 2 years in a similar lead role.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in React, TypeScript, AWS, and Gitlab CI/CD. Familiarity with Tanstack Query and React Hook Form is a plus.
• Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with patience and resilience.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with various teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical Skills: Detail-oriented with effective time management skills.
