Make is seeking a full-time Senior Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about crafting large-scale software and has a genuine enthusiasm for software development. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality frontends that match design specifications and contribute to our world-class software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Frontend Development: Code large-scale frontends based on atomic design systems.
- Code Quality: Write high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Design Implementation: Ensure that frontends match designs provided in Figma.

Communication Requirements
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Available for video calls during the workday.
Working Hours
- Work mostly in your local time zone.
- Attend several weekly meetings in the Central Time Zone (CST) to collaborate with teammates.
Required Experience
- Frontend Development: Minimum of 7 years of professional experience.
- React: At least 5 years of experience, highly proficient with React hooks, the Context API, and component lifecycle management.
- Next.js: 2+ years of experience with in-depth knowledge of Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR), and static site generation.
- JavaScript/TypeScript: 5+ years of experience with a solid understanding of modern ES6+ syntax.
- Large Scale Applications: Experience working on at least 2 large-scale applications (with 50+ screens).
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a software agency.
- Headless CMS experience.
- Backend experience.
- Experience with Firebase/Supabase.
- Familiarity with testing libraries such as Vitest or Playwright.
