About the Role

Make is seeking a full-time Senior Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about crafting large-scale software and has a genuine enthusiasm for software development. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality frontends that match design specifications and contribute to our world-class software products.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development: Code large-scale frontends based on atomic design systems.
Code Quality: Write high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.
Design Implementation: Ensure that frontends match designs provided in Figma.

Communication Requirements

Must have excellent communication skills.
Fluent in English.
Available for video calls during the workday.

Working Hours

Work mostly in your local time zone.
Attend several weekly meetings in the Central Time Zone (CST) to collaborate with teammates.

Required Experience

Frontend Development: Minimum of 7 years of professional experience.
React: At least 5 years of experience, highly proficient with React hooks, the Context API, and component lifecycle management.
Next.js: 2+ years of experience with in-depth knowledge of Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR), and static site generation.
JavaScript/TypeScript: 5+ years of experience with a solid understanding of modern ES6+ syntax.
Large Scale Applications: Experience working on at least 2 large-scale applications (with 50+ screens).

Nice to Have

Experience working in a software agency.
Headless CMS experience.
Backend experience.
Experience with Firebase/Supabase.
Familiarity with testing libraries such as Vitest or Playwright.
