About the Role
Uplimit is seeking a talented Software Engineer - Frontend to join our dynamic team in San Mateo, California. As a frontend engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and building user-facing features for our cutting-edge AI-driven learning platform. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects that redefine the online education experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop New Features: Design and implement new user-facing features for our education platform, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for learners.
- AI Integration: Work on projects involving AI and machine learning, such as AI tutors and AI-augmented course creation, to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
- End-to-End Ownership: Take ownership of features from conception to deployment, becoming an expert in various domains across the product, including payments, emails, student portals, and more.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, customer success managers, and sales team members to build exceptional experiences that delight our students and instructors.
- Continuous Improvement: Learn from past projects and apply those insights to future developments, continuously improving our software development processes.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in Frontend Development: Strong experience with React.js, Next.js, and Mobx in TypeScript.
- Software Development Lifecycle: Expertise in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, technical teams, and management.
- AI/ML Experience: Experience with AI/ML products is a plus.
